Tyrone Gordon, 47, of West Burlington, died at 1007 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997, at his home.
Born July 7, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of Roscoe Sr. and Marieanne Roberts Gordon. He married Jean Faulkner. They divorced in 1991.
Mr. Gordon was a welder at General Electric Co. for 23 years. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Laurence R. Gordon of Burlington; two sons, Sean Sprattling of St. Louis, Mo., and Damien Gordon of Burlington; two grandchildren; his father of St. Louis; three brothers, Ronald Gordon of Orlando, Fla., Roscoe Gordon Jr. of Okinawa, Japan, and Darryl Gordon of St. Louis; two sisters, Gloria Herron of St. Louis and Norvell Bibb of El Paso, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one daughter.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Gordon will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. John Hyland officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
