Mrs. A. Fiialkowski, Des Moines County Life Resident, Dies

Mrs. Mary Ellen Fiialkowski, 83, wife of Andy Fiialkowski, died at her home on Agency road at 12:20 p.m. yesterday. She was a life resident of Des Moines county.

Mir. Fiialkowski, whose maiden name was Hilleary was born in Union township, Feb. 28, 1848. she was married to Mr. Fiialkowski, April 14, 1872, and the couple would have celebrated its 60th wedding anniversary next year. Mrs. Fiialkowski was member of Middletown Presbyterian church. Protection lodge, Degree of Honor, and the Hawkeye Natives auxilary.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lelia Kelly of Burlington and Jessie, Nellie, and Elsie at home; two sons, Joseph of Union township and Charles at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mina Hanna of Burlington, Mrs. Hilda Blakeway of Esparta, Calif., and Mrs. Charles Mohnike of Santa Anna, Calif.; two brothers, Horace Hillearly of Eldon and Sherman Hilleary of Burlington; two grandchildren, Mrs. Hazel H. Carroll of Burlington, and Mrs. H. R. Martin of Denver, and three great grandchildren, John and Charles Carroll of Burlington and Harry Martin, Jr. of Denver.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed but the funeral will probably be held at the home Wednesday.
