Priviate Rites for Mrs. Amelia Jacobs To be Held Saturday

Priviate funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Jacobs, 82 who died at St. Francis hospital yesterday, will be held at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Danville cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobs had lived in Des Moines county for many years and had made her home at St. Francis hospital for the past year. She had been ill four weeks.

She was born in Chillicothe, O., Aug 20 1849, but spent most of her life in Danville. She was married to John J. Jacobs about 55 years ago in Burlington She was a member of the Congregational church at Danville.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by one sister, Mrs. Oliver Orm of West Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
