FREDERIC H. THIE

Sperry—Frederic H. Thie, 80, died Monday at 11:40 p.m. at his home in Sperry after an extended illness.

He was born May 10, 1868, the son of Henry and Christina Thie, and was a member of St. John' s Evangelical & Reformed church . On April l6, 1893, he married Amalie Riepe in Flint River township.

Surviving are the widow; 2 sons , Raymond of Burlington and Abner of route 3, Burlington; 2 daughters, Meta Thie of Burlington and Mrs. Hulda Henderson of Sperry; 4 grandsons; 2 brothers, William of Medlapolls and Herman of Sperry. A daughter, 4 brothers and a sister are dead.

Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in First Evangelical & Reformed church at Burlington. The body will be taken to the church from Prugh's chapel at 10 a.m. Rev. Ralph Hunger will officiate. Burial will be in the St .John Evangelical & Reformed cemetery in Flint River township.
