Larry Wagler

Larry A. Wagler, 73, of Burlington died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Lexington Square in Keokuk.

Born Feb. 28, 1938, in Burlington, he was the son of Ira and Lois Andrews Wagler.

Mr. Wagler worked at Selby's Turkey Plant and The Bread Factory. He was also a "scrapper." He collected arrowheads. He enjoyed camping, fishing, catching turtles, family visits and being around children.

Survivors include one brother, Laurence Wagler of Morning Sun; two nephews; and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

No visitation is planned.

The graveside funeral for Mr. Wagler will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
