Lawrence Eugene Wagler, 72, of Burlington died at 9:58 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Morning Sun Care Center.
Born June 11, 1940, in Burlington, he was the son of Ira and Lois Andrews Wagler. He married Melba Johnson. They divorced.
Mr. Wagler worked in maintenance at Burlington Medical Center. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the river.
Survivors include one son, Chad Cutkomp of Columbus Junction; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
No visitation or immediate service is planned for Mr. Wagler. The body has been cremated.
Lunning Chapel in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
