Mrs. Dorothy Manley Hatt, 66, died Wednesday, September 25, at her home at 1211 Madison. She was born October 8, 1918, at Fairfield, to Fred and Caramine VanDyke Manley. She married Harry D. Hatt October 25, 1936, in Ottumwa.

Mrs. Hatt was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Surviving: Her husband; a son, Michael, Bloomingdale, Illinois; two daughters, Judy Gall, Burlington, and Denise Hatt, at home; a foster-son, Walter Peszulik, Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Marjorie Benn, Fairfield; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in St. Paul Church, the Reverend Carlos Leveling; Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary: Prugh's Chapel at 7 p.m. Sunday.
