MORNING SUN MAN’S MOTHER DEAD

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Giles funeral home in Burlington for Mrs. Julia Sisco, 71, mother of Ray Sisco of Morning Sun.

A resident of Burlington for the past 28 years, Mrs. Sisco died there at her home on Wednesday, July 12 following a long illness. Services were in charge of the Rev. Earl S. Woodard, pastor of the Walnut Street Baptist church and burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

The former Julia Dovviller was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on February 5, 1879. She was married to Elmer Sisco in 1896. Mrs. Sisco was a member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by her husband, 5 daughters, and 2 sons besides Ray Sisco of this place.
