June 20, 1981Mrs. Fischer dies at 52
A. Faye Fischer, 52, Burlington, died Thursday afternoon at the Burlington Medical Center.
The service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Lunning Chapel in Burlington. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
The daughter of W.S. and Mollie Long Tate, she was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Mindon, La. She married Richard R. Fischer of Fairfield Nov. 8, 1963 in Keokuk.
She was assistant cashier of First National Bank of Burlington where she was employed 24 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Burlington and the Order of the Eastern Star of Stuttgart, Germany.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Michael Fischer, Amana, her parents of Mindon, La., and a sister, Rose O'Neill, also of Mindon.
