Marguerite Bollman

Marguerite Bollman, 92, of Burlington, died Sunday, December 9, 2001, at Great River Medical Center Klein Center.

Born November 23, 1909, in Van Buren County, she was the daughter of Henry Madison and Jenny A. Russell Bollman.

Miss Bollman was a graduate of Troy (Iowa) High School. She worked in the commercial department for Iowa Southern Utilities from 1932 to 1948, and was office manager/bookkeeper from 1954 to 1967 at Sheagren-Hunt Motors until her retirement in 1973.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and Burlington Women's Bowling Association, and was inducted into the association's Hall of Fame. She lived at the King's Daughters Home for the past year and a half.

She is survived by two nieces, Barbara Isley of Santa Monica, California and Martha Bollman of LaHonda, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

The memorial funeral service for Miss Bollman was Thursday, December 13, 2001, at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial was in Burlington Memorial Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for her church.
