Paul M. Hartman, 64, of Stronghurst, Ill., died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Dec. 9, 1926, in Burlington, he was the son of Elbert and Wilma Burrell Hartman.
He married Elsie Foresman Jan. 18, 1949, in St. Augustine, Ill.
He farmed all of his life in the Raritan-Stronghurst area, retiring in December 1990. He was a member of the Henderson County Farm Bureau, former member if St. Patrick's Parish Council of Raritan, and assisted with the Raritan Fourth of July celebrations each year. In 1987, he and his family were chosen as Henderson County Family of the Year by the Henderson County Extension Association.
Surviving are his wife, one son; ten daughters, one sister, Wanda(Earl) Booton, Gladstone, Ill; 16 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Burial in the St. Patrick Cemetery, near Raritan, Ill.
