Ruth Mae Cavender Collom, 75, of Gilroy, Calif., died Monday, April 29, 1991, in Gilroy.

Raised in Burlington,Ia., she moved with her husband to Morgan Hills, Calif., in 1978.
She was active with the Gavilan Ladies Golf Association and the Wheeler Hospital Auxiliary. She was a real estate agent with Starritt Reality in Gilroy from 1969 until 1971.
Surviving are her husband, Bud; two sons, Terry Collom, Lexington park, Md. and Peter Collom, Gilroy, Calif.; two daughters, Pat Fisk, Cameron Park, Calif, and Nancy Nishimura, Gilroy, Calif.; two sisters, Eleanor Long, Burlington, and Betty Gustafson, Mediapolis; two brothers, (can't read) Cavender, San Bernardino, Calif., and Jack Cavender, Carman, Ill.; nine grandchildren.

The service for Mrs. Collom will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy, Calif.
