Fred C. Parrott, 59, of Danville, died Thursday, At 8:10 p.m. in Mercy hospital after a short illness.

He was born Nov. 27, 1877, in Des Moines County county, and Apri 20, 1889 married Anna Morgan at New London. He was a blacksmith by trade.

Surviving are his widow, 3 sons, Merrill and Robert, Burlington, and Allen Parrott, Danville,; 6 daughters, Mrs. Harlan Thornburg, Knoxville, Mrs. Jim Evans, Danville, Madeline, Chicago, Mrs. Jess Stone, Mrs. Frank Bright, and Mrs. Howard Sink, Burlington; and 16 grandchildren.
