Arthur Hans Anderson

Mediapolis - Arthur Hans Anderson, 87, rural Mediapolis, retired farmer and carpenter, died Tuesday at the Mediapolis Care Center.

He was born Nov. 27, 1895 in Williamsfield, Ill., the son of Hans and Mary Armstrong Anderson.

He was never married.

He was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving : A nephew, Max Anderson, rural Oakville.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Fry Chapel, Mediapolis; Memorial Park Cemetery, Burlington.
