Mrs. Dannies, 70, Dies Suddenly; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Sophia Catherine Dannies, 70, died at Burlington hospital suddenly Sunday evening after only a few hours illness.

She was born in Burlington June 7, 1869, the daughter of John and Rosina Leidig Sackbeauer(SIC).

In April, 1913, she was united in marriage with Lewis Dannies, in Burlington. Mrs. Dannies was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.

Surviving are her husband; one brother, Fred Sackbauer of Peoria, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Boesch, of West Burlington. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Sackbauer, and by two sisters, Mrs Bertha Boesch and Mrs. Louisa Dehn.

Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Tuesday afternoon at 1:30. The Rev. R.R. Belter will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
