Alice McClelland
Alice Marie McClelland, 90, of Dundalk, Md., died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at her home.

Born Feb. 14, 1918, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Effie and Emil Horn. In 1940, she married George McClelland.

Mrs. McClelland was an active member of her community and participated in many volunteer events. She went by the nickname "Ike" and was well-known in her community. When she was growing up, her family lived on Summer Street in Burlington.

She enjoyed traveling, going out to local restaurants with her family and friends and spending time at her waterfront home.

Survivors include three sons, Denny, LeRoy and Russell; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her family and friends will have a private memorial service.

Connelly Funeral Home in Dundalk was in charge of arrangements.
