Shaelynn Sue Kelly, 27 months, of New London, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at her home following a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born Nov. 2, 2005, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Andrew and Samantha Stanley Kelly.

Shaelynn attended Harmony Bible Church in rural Danville. She enjoyed playing with her cousins, dancing, music, being read to, strawberry milk, riding in her dad's truck and butterflies. She liked Big Bird, Herky the Hawk, the Chicago Bears, and she loved her kitty. She was a fun-loving little girl.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, Killian Michael Kelly of New London; grandparents, Julia Kelly and Jeff and Carol Lair, all of New London; great-grandparents, Harvey and Loyce Jeff and Calvin and Thelma Lair, all of Danville; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and three great-grandparents.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harmony Bible Church in rural Danville where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Shaelynn Sue Kelly will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Bible Church with the Rev. Chad Pearce officiating. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery in rural Danville.

A memorial has been established.
