Sgt. James Hill

Services for Sgt. James W. Hill, 36, former Burlington resident who died at 1 a.m. Friday from injuries in an automobile accident at Newport News, Va., will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliot-Lunning chapel.

He was born in Burlington, Feb. 18, 1930, son of Warren and Elsie Berquist Hill. He was married in Okinawa in 1959. He was an army career man and a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving: His wife, Sumi, two sons, Tod and Donald, a daughter, Donna Lou; his mother, Mrs. Elsie Mack, Davenport; and a grandfather, E.H.(Mick)Berquist, Burlington.

Rev. Leonard Stark will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will arrive in Burlington late today.
