Ray Virgil Lee

NEW LONDON - Ray Virgil Lee, 88, 3800 Kirkwood, Burlington, formerly of New London, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, in St. Francis hospital.

He was born May 31, 1881, in New London, son of Green and Jennie Stafford Lee. He married Maude Wilson, Jan. 21, 1903, at New London. She died Feb. 21, 1914. He married Minnie Beyer, Feb. 21, 1923, in Monmouth, Ill.

He was a member of Beulah Methodist Church.

Surviving his wife; three sons, Virgil, Tucson,Ariz., Ralph, Lafayette, Ind., Kenneth, Carlisle; stepson Kenneth, daughters, Mrs. Viva Quayle, Davenport, Mrs. Laura Matthew, Winfield; 24 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren.

Services: Wednesday, 11 a.m., Elliot chapel, New London; Rev. Gerald Rosenberger; Burge Cemetery.
