Dennis Daye Terry, 52, of Danville, died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at his home.
Born Dec. 8, 1949, in Burlington, he was the son of Ersie Daye and Frances Lucille Schnupper Terry.
Mr. Terry was a 1970 graduate of Danville High School. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include one aunt, Doris Anderson of Danville; one niece, Marcia Trisler of Burlington; and one grandniece, Leashia Durham of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation will begin after noon today at Elliott Chapel in New London, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
The graveside service for Mr. Terry will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Prairie Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Richard Latta officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Rescue Unit.
