Frances Terry
Frances Lucille Terry, 78, of Danville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at her home.
Born Jan. 23, 1924, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Herman and Nellie Miller Schnupper. She married Ersie D. Terry on March 21, 1945, in Petersburg, Va. He died July 7, 1970.
Mrs. Terry attended school in Danville.
She was a homemaker and a farmer and also worked for Sylvania in Burlington and in the cafeteria at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant.
She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include one son, Dennis D. Terry of Danville; one granddaughter; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Doris Anderson of Danville.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday at Elliott Chapel in New London, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
The graveside service for Mrs. Terry will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Prairie Grove Cemetery, West Burlington, with Pastor Richard Latta officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Rescue Unit.
