Clarence Sheppard died at the family home, No. 1222 Linden street, Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, after an illness of three years. He was born in Burlington, June 14, 1889, and had always made the city his home. During a number of years he kept busy at the carpenter's trade. His wife preceded him three years ago and there are no children. He is survived by the mother, Mrs. Mary Sheppard, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Eliza Bliss, West Burlington; John Sheppard, of New London; Will and Pearl Sheppard, of Chicago, and Clifford Sheppard of this city.

The funeral will be held from the Unterkircher chapel at 2 o'clock this (Tuesday)afternoon, with interment in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
