Louis Goersche passed away at 6:30 o'clock Sunday evening, after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Quincy, Ill., and had been employed at Lutz & Sons establishment during many years, having come to Burlington some thirty years ago. He had long been the superintendent of the First German Evangelical Sunday school and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He is mourned by the widow and two daughters, Mrs. Lily Frank and Mrs. L.E. Othmer;of Keokuk. The family home is 831 Linden street.
The funeral will be held from the First German Evangelical church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with interment in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
