Pearl Marie Andrew, 88, of Burlington, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Burlington Care Center.

Born Feb. 21, 1918, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Arthur William and Mary Margaret Brumm Fehse. On Dec. 9, 1937, she married Arthur David Andrew in Burlington. He died Jan. 6, 1993.

Mrs. Andrew was a homemaker.

She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, watching soap operas, taking care of her house plants and was an animal lover.

Survivors include two daughters, Merry-Jo Gay Putnam of Elkland, Mo., and Carol-Lee Joy Martin of Burlington; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home. There will be no family visitation.

The graveside service for Mrs. Andrew will be at 2 p.m. today in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry K. Olson officiating.
