RAYMOND BROOKHISER
Raymond L. Brookhiser, 67, of Denmark, died at 10:56 p.m. Saturday, Jan 31, at Burlington Med ical Center.
Born July 8, 1919, in Des Moines County, he was the son of William H. and Blanche Milliman Br ookhiser. He married Vivian Gittings Sams Sept. 11, 1949, in Fort Madison.
Mr. Brookhiser had worked for the Brookhiser Trucking Company, retiring after 28 years of ser vice. He was a member of the Denmark Congregation United Church of Christ and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife; Vivian; his mother, Wever; two brothers Harold Brookhiser, Wever, an d William Brookhiser Jr.,Lawrenceville, Ga.; one sister Mrs. Marian (Orville) Johnson, West Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Services for Mr. Brookhiser will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the King-LynkFuner al Home with the Re v. David Gaskill officiating. Burial will be in the Claypoole Cemetery.
