Ollie Lyons

Ollie Lyons, 85, Burlington Care Center, died in St. Francis Continuation Care Center, Sunday, April 29.

He was born in Kingston, July 5, 1898, to Bert and Dora Brockway Lyons. He married Susie Perkins, Nov. 21, 1928. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving: The wife; three sons, Merrill, Comanche, Darrell, Muscatine, and Doyle, Danville; stepson, Harold Perkins, Burlington; four sisters, Gertrude Mehaffy, Danville, Evelyn Mehaffy and Velma Dearlove, both of West Burlington, and Jessie Calloway, Burlington; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Services are pending at the Lunning Chapel.
