Nellie E. Davis

Nellie E. Davis, 72, Burlington Care Center, died Thursday, Aug.7, at University hospitals, Iowa City.

She was born May 7, 1903 in Huron township, the daughter of Samuel O. and Lilly Purcell Davis.

She was of the Methodist faith and a former IAAP employee.

Survivng: One son, Ronald Lyons, Springfield, Va.; one brother, Lewis Davis, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Borsch, Des Plaines, Ill., and Mrs. Reva McKeown, Jacksonville, Ill.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Kossuth cemetery, with the Rev. Ralph Schenk officiating. The Body is at the Fry Chapel, Mediapolis.
