Mrs. Eliza Perkins

WAPELLO - Mrs. Eliza Jane Perkins, 80, died Aug. 2 in Muscatine County hospital, Muscatine.
Mrs. Perkins was the daughter of Samuel S. and Mary Jane Kyle Finley, and was born near Grandview on Mar. 18, 1874. On Christmas day 1895, she was married to the late James Thomas Perkins at Burlington.
Surviving are two sons, and a daughter; Lewis Perkins, Lloyd C. Perkins Wapello and Mrs. Ollie Lyons of Joy, Ill; also one grandchild and 10 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and two sisters are dead.
Last rites will be held at the Dudgeon funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Caleb Larson, pastor of the Oakland church, will officiate, and burial will be in the Wapello cemetery.
