Edward Moser
Edward P. Moser, 59, of New Boston, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine.

Born July 11, 1941, in Burlington, he was the son of George and Laura York Moser. On June 24, 1961, he married Delores Folker in Burlington.

Mr. Moser worked as an assembler for Case in Burlington for three years and as an assembler for John Deere Harvester from December 1964 until retiring in February 1995. He currently was working for Cannon Precision as a machine operator.

He was a 1959 graduate of Huron High School. He was a member of UAW 434 of Moline, Ill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushrooming, casinos and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kimberly Wedekind of New Boston and Karla McDaniles of Millersburg, Ill.; two sons, Kirk Moser of Seaton, Ill., and Kendall Moser of Chillicothe, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; four sisters, Georgiabelle Hulett, Laurada Howe and Ruth Seitz, all of Iowa, and Alice Paschal of Illinois; and five brothers, Richard Moser of Texas, Jim Moser, Jake Moser and George Moser Jr., all of Iowa, and Delbert Moser of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Family Funeral Services in Aledo, Ill.
The funeral for Mr. Moser will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Family Funeral Services. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery in New Boston.

A memorial has been established.
