Ruth Seitz

Ruth Evelyn Seitz, 72, of Burlington, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at her home.

Born Sept. 2, 1934, in Kingston, she was the daughter of George R. and Laura Ada York Moser.

Mrs. Seitz operated and set brakes for J.I. Case for 19 years. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and Women of the Moose.

Survivors include one daughter, Diana Nelson of Burlington; one son, Mark Decker of AlbertLea, Minnesota; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Richard A. Moser of Palmer, Texas, Delbert Moser, James Moser and Jacob Moser, all of Burlington; and two sisters, Georgia B. Hulett of Mediapolis and Alice Paschal of Roseville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one daughter, one son, three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Seitz will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery, rural Oakville.

A memorial has been established.
