Pearl Grupe

Pearl M. Grupe, 96, of Eagen, Minn., formerly of Sperry, died Sunday, April 13, 1997 in Eagen.

Born Dec. 16, 1900, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Christopher and Mary Reif Wichmeyer. On July 2, 1925, she married Arthur Grupe in Burlington.

Mrs. Grupe was a homemaker in the Sperry area until 1989.

Survivors include her husband of South Suburban Health Care Center in Farmington, Minn.; one daughter, Lorraine Byers of Eagan; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, one sister, one half sister and two daughters.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Haegle and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis.

The funeral for Mrs. Grupe will be 230 p.m. Saturday at Haegle and Honts Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Stone Cemetery of Sperry.
