Frances Molter-Wilkerson

Frances P. Molter-Wilkerson, 87, of Burlington, died at 5:19 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at Burlington Care Center.

Born Dec. 20, 1918, in Chicago, she was the daughter of James and Marie McArthur Kelly. On Sept. 24, 1938, she married John Molter in Chicago. He died in 1993. She married Paul Wilkerson on Sept. 27, 1997, in Burlington. He died in 2004.

She worked in sales. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed traveling and being around people.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Molter of Dallas City, Ill., John Molter of Burlington and James Molter of Galesburg, Ill.; two daughters, Patricia Thurber of Lake in the Hills, Ill., and Marie Thomas of Gresham, Ore.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

As per her request her body has been cremated.

A graveside committal service and inurnment will be at a later date in Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City.

Hass-Thielen Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
