Jessie May Callaway, 86, of Route 5 , died 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 1989, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Nov. 27, 1902, in Kingston, she was the daughter of Bert and Dora May* Brockway Lyons.

She was employed as a merchandise buyer for several years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Gladstone, Ill.

Surviving are two daughters, Alicia M. Walker, Burlington, and Marilyn Petrocelli, Delmont, Pa.; one son, Caroll Callaway, Barrington, Ill.; three sisters, Gertrude Mehaffy, Danville, and Eveyln Mehaffy and Velma Dearlove, both of Burlington; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mrs. Callaway will be from 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. William Morris officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Kiwanis Club.
