DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Mr. Jody W. Kerker, 29, of Peoria, Ill., formerly of Dyersville, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at the home of his parents in Dyersville, after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, with the Rev. Ray Atwood officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kerker was assistant manager of Cheddar's Restaurant, in Rockford, Ill., from 1994 to 1996, and Cheddar's Restaurant in Peoria, Ill., since 1996.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1969, in Dubuque, son of Charles and Pamela (Huberty) Kerker. He married Heidi Ellison on Sept. 19, 1992, in Dubuque. He graduated from Beckman High School in 1987.

Surviving are his wife, Heidi; a son, Zachary at home; his parents, Charles and Pam Kerker, of Dyersville; two brothers, Shawn (Eunice) Kerker, of El Paso, Texas, and Chad (Audrey) Kerker, of Dubuque; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Lois Huberty, of Dyersville.
