DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Mrs. Marian D. Jasper, 81, of Dyersville, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary recited at 4:30 p.m. and a parish scripture service will be held at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Jasper was a homemaker and worked at the Piekenbrock Co.
She was born on March 26, 1917, the daughter of Fred and Frances (Huberty) Fischbach. She married Leo H. Jasper on June 2, 1938, in Dyersville; he died May 21, 1991.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Surviving are three sons, Bob (Martha), of Dubuque, Don (Jeanne), of Cedar Falls, and Jerry, of Dyersville; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Evelyn Singer and Frances Scherbring.
