DYERSVILLE Bernie Hoeger, 75, died Friday, July 15, 1994, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, after a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Francis Xavier Basilica. Burial: church cemetery, with military honors. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where a rosary will be recited at 6:15 p.m., a parish Scripture service begins at 7 p.m. and a military service begins at 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Sandra Geistkemper of Elburn, Ill., and Susan Hunter of Ankeny; two sons, Tom of Maquoketa and Mark of Dyersville; three sisters, Vera Curtis of Dyersville, Lori Beike of Dubuque and Betty Jasper of Farley; and three brothers, Tony, Joe and Frank, all of Dyersville.
