Thank you for a most interesting link. I shall followup. By-the-way, the original German surname was Puhlhorn (with an umlaut over the u). In four geneations the surname went from Puhlhorn to Puehlhorn to Buehlhorn to Billhorn. Then one branch of the family decided to be "Bilhorn". Makes genealogy fun, doesn't it?
