Looking for some colorful details on a Christopher (Columbus) PRIDE, Civil War veteran and survivor of Andersonville Prison, who was in southwest Indiana in the 1860s but relocated to Manchester, Iowa, between 1865 and 1900. He and his wife, Sarah, are buried in Oakland Cemetery in Manchester. Chris was born ca. 1838, died 1924; Sarah born 1848, died 1907. Their son was Lawrence Ellwood Pride (my gggrandfather).
