Mrs. Charles Walters
Mrs. Charles Walters of Cedar Rapids died Sunday, Jan. 9, following a long illness.
A Cedar Rapids resident most of her life, she was born in Manchester in 1895. She was the former Ruth Reeves Kling and was a retired bridal consultant for the Killian company there.
Survivors include nephews, Albert Reeves of Manchester and Bill of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Catherine Reeves of Manchester, Mrs. Joe Hermann of Manchester and Mrs. Ralph Drexler of Coggon.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanford Reeves and her parents, Albert and Etta Slack Reeves.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 12, in Cedar Rapids and burial was made at Oakland cemetery here.
