Manchester, Ia. – Services for Michael Albert Ellison, 71, who died Thursday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gill Funeral Home with the Rev. David Davids officiating and burial in the cemetery at Dundee.

Ellison was born Nov. 4, 1877 in Delhi Township, Delaware County, the son of George W. and Ida (Wilson) Ellison. He attended schools in that area and married Louise Olmstead at Delhi. He had farmed the greater part of his life in that region.

He is survived by two sons, Vernon, of Austin, Minn., and Clarence of Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Bartels, of Rodondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Frances Gallery, of Waterloo; two sister, Mrs. Winifred Smith, of Santa Anna, Calif., and Mrs. Martha Speer, of Rodondo Beach, Calif., and five brothers, Charles of Delhi, Ray of Seattle, Wash., and Roy, Fred, and Arthur, all of Anaconda, Wash. He was preceded by his parents, wife and a sister.
