Husband, Wife Die
Within Six Hours~
Hopkinton, Ia. – Double services will be held at the Presbyterian Church here at 3:30 p.m. Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Dunlap.Mrs. Dunlap, the former Eva Campbell, died Thursday at a Monticello hospital at 11:30 a.m. and her husband died at 5 a.m. Friday at the family home. Both had been ill for some time.
With the exception of 12 years spent on a ranch in Billings, Mont., the couple had lived their entire lives in this area. Dunlap was a painter and decorator. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 49 years and would have received a 50 years membership if he lived until December 2, 1949.
Dunlap is survived by four nieces and Mrs. Dunlap is survived by three sister; Mrs. Minnie Hooper, Mrs. P. R. Wheeless and Elizabeth Campbell, all of Hophkinton.
