Eunice "Billie" LeClere, 94, of Hopkinton, died Sunday evening, Sept. 8, 2002, in the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, First United Church of Hopkinton. Burial: Hopkinton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Hopkinton. The Rev. Marti Montovani will officiate at the services.

Survivors include a brother, John LeClere of Hopkinton; and a sister, Myrtilla Bawden of Vinton.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Bessie LeClere of Hopkinton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and nine brothers.

Eunice M. LeClere was born Feb. 25, 1908, near Coggon, Iowa, the daughter of Henry C. and Margaret Drexler LeClere. She received her education in the rural schools of Ryan and Coggon. Billie then worked on the family farm. In 1999, she went to live at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
