HOPKINTON, Iowa - Lucille M. Yonkovic, 77, of Hopkinton, died following an extended illness Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Hopkinton, with burial in the Hopkinton Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Hopkinton, where there will be a parish scripture service at 7 p.m.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond (Karene) Yonkovic, of Lisbon, John (Deb) Yonkovic, of Fairbank, and Tony (Lisa) Yonkovic, of Hopkinton; six daughters, JoAnn (Bill) Dingbaum, of Hopkinton, Nina (Bill) Kray, of Monticello, Rosie (Dennis) Dirks, of Manchester, Sherry (Bob Schonberg) Haas, of Cedar Rapids, Debbie (Daryl) Porter and Janet (Randy) Rickels, both of Monticello; 30 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; a brother, Vernon Chapman, of Monticello; and a sister-in-law, Myrtle Chapman, of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy, on Dec. 18, 1992; a son, Russell; a great-grandson, Milton; three sisters and five brothers.
