Patrick H. Rausch, 50, 13605 Surrey Lane, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Dyersville, Iowa, where military rites will be accorded by the Dyersville American Legion Post 137, and the New Vienna (Iowa) Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 656. Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a Resurrection Catholic Church Parish Christian wake service at 5 p.m. The Dyersville American Legion and the New Vienna VFW will attend the visitation as a group at 6 p.m.

Mr. Rausch has been employed for the past 20 years at Mid-Continent Bottlers, where he was the division manager.

He was born on May 14, 1948, in Millville, Iowa, son of Leo and Agnes (Schwers) Rausch. He married Marjean A. Willenbring on Oct. 21, 1972, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Luxemburg, Iowa.

He was a 1966 graduate of Western Dubuque High School. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church; the Dyersville Sportsmans Club, where he was a past president; Dyersville American Legion Post 137; and the New Vienna VFW Post 656.

Surviving are his wife, Marjean A. (Willenbring) Rausch; three sons, Scott P. Rausch, of Asbury, Iowa, and Rick J. and Terry J. Rausch, both at home; his mother, Agnes Rausch, of Dyersville; a sister-in-law, Sandy Rausch, of Dyersville; and his father- and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Verna Willenbring, of Dyersville.

He was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 15, 1983; and a brother, Dennis Rausch, on April 1, 1994.

A Patrick H. Rausch Memorial Fund has been established by his family.
