Terry J. Rausch, 26, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Dubuque, died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church, Dubuque. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery Dyersville, Iowa. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Egelhof-Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, Dubuque, where there will be a wake service at 2 p.m.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1979, in Dubuque, son of Patrick and Marjean (Willenbring) Rausch.

He graduated from Hempstead High School, Dubuque, in 1998, and later moved to the mountains of Colorado, where he worked for American Furniture.

Terry was a avid Kansas City Chief's fan and loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, rock climbing and mountain biking.

Surviving are his mother, Marjean Rausch, of Dubuque; two brothers, Scott (Tammy) Rausch, of Asbury, and Rick (Nicole Girot) Rausch, of East Dubuque Ill.; his grandfather, Lawrence Willenbring, of Dyersville; five aunts and uncles, Steve (Marge) Willenbring, of Dyersville, Diane (Glenn) Lichti, of Dubuque, Mark (Marilyn) Willenbring, of Manchester, Iowa, Karen (Bruce) Knipper, of Delhi, Iowa, and Sandy (Darrell) Schueller, of Davenport, Iowa; a nephew, Dalton Avenarius, of Asbury; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by, his father, Patrick; his maternal grandmother, Verna Willenbring; his paternal grandparents, Leo and Agnes Rausch; an uncle, Dennis Rausch; and two cousins, Chad Knipper and D.J. Willenbring.

A Terry Rausch Memorial Fund has been established
