Paul C. Hatfield, Modesto Resident For 12 Years, Dies
Paul C. Hatfield, 46. a resident of Modesto for the past twelve years, died in a hotel at 927 1/2 Tenth Street Tuesday morning. Hatfield, a native of Greeley, Iowa, was an automotive electrican, and served as a guard at San Quentin prison [illegible words] 1930. He was a ex-service man, going to France from Iowa with the First Division. Besides his widow, Mrs. Maud L. Hatfield of Oakland, he leaves two children, Robert and Goldy Hatfield of Greeley, Iowa; his father, Timothy Hatfield of Greeley; two brothers. C. R. Hatfield of Berkeley and Roy E. Hatfield of Minneapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Lora Ridenour of Strawberry Point, Iowa.
