C.G. Millett died of paralyss, at his residence in this city March 1st. He was born in Alleghany county, N.Y., and came to Iowa in the fall of 1864. He bought a farm about three miles north of town, where he resided until three years ago, when he moved to Manchester. His health had been poor for some years past, and on the 25th of February he fell on the ice, fracturing his hip. His funeral takes place on Thursday, at the Presbyterian church.
