DUBUQUE COUNTY – The Delaware Journal records the death of Mrs. NANCY BRADY at the residence of THOS. MARR, in this County. She was the mother of E. BRADY, Esq., of Delhi. The Journal states that she was “a native of Pennsylvania, and emigrated to the Territory of Iowa in 1836, where she resided till her decease. She was a member of the M. E. Church for sixty-two years, presenting to the world a Christian character seldom equaled. She was taken sick but a few days before her decease.”
