DELAWARE COUNTY. – Fatal Accident – The Delhi Journal says that on Sunday afternoon last, “As Mr. Otis and wife, residents of Manchester, were going into town from the south side of the river, while descending a hill, some portion of the harness gave out, upon which the horse became frightened and attempted to run away. At this, Mrs. Otis jumped from the wagon, alighting on her feet. It was immediately seen, however, that she had sustained some severe internal injury, and in a few minutes she expired. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn their bereavement.”
