Lucille M. Carter, 96, died Sunday at Garden Village in Yakima.

Mrs. Carter was born in Manchester, Iowa, and was raised in Iowa. She moved to Yakima in 1953.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy J. Wood, Catherine A. Howell and James W. Carter, all of Yakima; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Keith & Keith Funeral Home, Yakima, is in charge of arrangements.
